Freescale’s i.300-30 3G platform is a dual-mode EDGE class 12 capable, tri-band WCDMA/HSDPA, quad-band GSM 3G platform.
Optimized for open operating systems such as Linux and Symbian, the i.300-30 platform enables flexibility for handset manufacturers globally. Also featured on the i.300-30 platform is high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA), enabling streaming audio and video, interactive downloads, and mobile gaming and Internet access - anytime, anyplace.
As a third-generation 3G platform, the i.300-30 improves on the i.300-20 platform with increased integration, lower costs and smaller size. The i.300-30 also features world-class power amplifier and power management technology for fewer dropped calls and longer battery life at lower costs for manufacturers.
